Man charged with staging accident

A man appeared in Dublin District Court charged with staging a traffic accident in order to defraud an insurance company.

A man appeared in Dublin District Court charged with staging a traffic accident in order to defraud an insurance company.

Mr Charles Desch (56), of Briarfield Road, Kilbarrack Dublin, was charged with staging an accident at Swords Road, Santry, on September 9th, 1990, in order to defraud PMPA of £11,500.

Judge William Early returned him for trial to the present sittings of the Circuit Criminal Court on his own bail of £200.
