A man has been charged with murder in Limerick city, following the fatal stabbing of a 40-year-old man in Denmark Street in the city on Saturday evening. Mr Anthony McMahon (24), Raheen Square, Limerick, appeared at a special sitting of Limerick District Court yesterday evening. Garda∅ named the deceased man as Mr Anthony O'Shea, O'Malley Park, Southill, Limerick.
