A 23-year-old man from Liverpool has been charged in connection with a £250,000 seizure of drugs in Northern Ireland.
The drugs were seized when police stopped a car in the Port of Belfast after it drove off the overnight ferry from Liverpool.
The man was charged with possession and possession with intent to supply cannabis and cocaine, said a police spokeswoman.
He is being held in police custody until Monday when he is due to appear before Belfast magistrates.
A 22-year-old woman arrested at the same time as the man has been released without charge pending a report to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
It was the second time in days that people from England had been arrested in Northern Ireland following drug seizures.
Cannabis resin worth £250,000 was recovered in Larne, Co Antrim when police stopped and searched a car which had arrived on a ferry from Fleetwood on Tuesday.
Two days later grandparents Paul McSween, 49, and his wife Barbara 51, from Lathum Close in Prescot , Merseyside appeared in court charged with possession of the drugs and possession with intent to supply.
Police alleged in court the couple had been employed as couriers for an organised crime gang.
