A man has been charged with murder at a special sitting of Limerick District Court today over the killing of his brother-in-law at a party yesterday morning.

Patrick Sheridan (30), of Barrack View, Rathleale County Limerick was charged with murder at a special sitting of Newcastlewest District Court over the death of David Sheridan (30) who died after a fight outside a house in Rathkeale, Co Limerick at about 1.15 a.m. yesterday. The Garda in Limerick confirmed to ireland.comthat the two men were related through marriage.

Patrick Sheridan has been remanded in custody to appear at Kilmallock District Court on Friday 20 April.

He had been questioned and released yesterday, butwas re-arrested and charged at 11 p.m. last night.
