A man in his 40s has been arrested as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of James Curran at a pub in Dublin on April 3rd.

The man was arrested at 12:30pm at Meath St, Dublin, and is being held at Kevin St Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Mr Curran was shot in the head in the Green Lizard pub on Francis Street, Dublin.

The champion kick boxer was originally from the south inner city area but had been living in Santry. He trained young people in martial arts in a room above a takeaway outlet around 300 metres from the scene of the shooting on Meath Street.
