Gardaí have arrested a man (23) after the seizure of 300,000 ecstasy tablets from a car in Dublin early today.
The tablets, with an estimated street value of €3 million, were discovered in a search of a car stopped by gardai on the North Circular Road this morning.
Detectives from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation had been carrying out surveillance on the car.
The man is being held under the Drug Trafficking Act at Mountjoy Garda Station.
