A man arrested in connection with the murder of an Offaly man last week appeared before Nenagh District Court this evening.
The special sitting of the court began at 6 p.m.
Mr Michael Rosney (25) died in Birr last week after being shot a number of times in the lower body at a house in Belmount on Thursday.
It is believed Mr Rosney was one of a number of people at a party in the house.
