A teenager has died following an assault near a bar in Co Tyrone.
The victim (19), was from Co Monaghan and police said he made his way home from Kevlin Road, Omagh, but was discovered dead at 11am this morning.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police in Omagh believe that the deceased was assaulted by a male of stocky build with ginger or blond-coloured hair and would urge this male to contact them in Omagh to assist with their enquiries.”
PSNI and the Garda are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish a cause of death.
