Major fire brought under control in Dublin Port

Fire fighters have brought a major blaze that broke out near Dublin Port this afternoon under control.

Fire fighters have brought a major blaze that broke out near Dublin Port this afternoon under control.

It is understood the fire started on a jetty used for landing bitumen products.

There have been no injuries reported. Gardaí have closed off  Alexander Road as a precaution.

The cause of the fire has yet to be established.
