Three Limerick men were further remanded in custody until February 27th at Limerick District Court yesterday arising out of alleged criminal damage to the headstone of Det Garda Jerry McCabe in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.

Mr James Dundon (21), of O'Malley Park, Southill, is charged on two counts of damaging the headstone belonging to Garda McCabe's widow, Anne, on January 8th/9th and on January 11th/12th. The other two defendants, Mr Melvin McNamara (17) and Mr Mark Connery (24), both of O'Malley Park, are charged on one count of causing malicious damage to the headstone on January 8th/9th.
