'Magill' is settled An action in which a former member of Dublin Corporation, Mr Joseph Burke, a building contractor, Collins Avenue West, Dublin, alleged he was libelled in an article in Magill magazine of February 5th, 1999, has been resolved, the High Court was told yesterday.
Mr Michael Cush SC, for Mr Burke, told Mr Justice McKechnie the parties had resolved their differences. The judge was also told that an unrelated action by Ms Elaine Moore, of Coolock, Dublin, had been settled. Ms Moore had claimed she was libelled in an article published in the Sunday Independent in August 1998.
