Leinster have named a dramatically reshuffled team to play Borders in the Celtic League Pool B clash this Friday after losing nine key players to the Ireland squad to play Georgia and another handful to the physio¿s table.

Among the big names missing are star centre Brian O'Driscoll, Malcolm O'Kelly, Denis Hickie and Reggie Corrigan.

O'Kelly's spot is filled by Des Dillon, formerly of Clongowes while hooker Peter Smyth takes over as captain in the absence of Corrigan.

Coach Matt Williams will be hoping this enforced new look side will be able to turn Leinster's campaign around having suffered two defeats on the trot.

Leinster:
Christian Warner, John McWeeney, Kieran Lewis, Shane Horgan, Gordon D'Arcy, Andy Dunne, Brian O'Meara, Victor Costello, Liam Toland, Des Dillon, Aidan Kearney, Ben Gissing, Niall Treston, Peter Smyth (Captain), Emmett Byrne
