English champions Leicester have beaten Stade Francais 34-30 to win rugby union's European Cup for the first time.

Centre Leon Lloyd scored two second-half tries, including one two minutes from the end, to secure victory for Leicester after Diego Dominguez had kicked nine penalties and a drop goal for the French team.

Stade Francais led 15-9 at half time, but Lloyd scored the game's first try soon after the interval, chasing a kick through from Pat Howard to touch down.

England flanker Neil Back also crossed the line for Leicester, but the kicking of Dominguez kept his team in front until Lloyd's final try in the corner following a break by scrumhalf Austin Healey.
