Solicitors who advertise a "no foal, no fee" service will have to warn clients that there, may be other costs, according to new regulations on advertising. The regulations come into effect on January 1st, according to the Law Society Gazette.

They stipulate that solicitors must make it clear there could be other costs for a legal service advertised on such a basis, "where the client pays the solicitor only in the event of a settlement.
