Riu De Mori - Fifteen people died and several others were injured yesterday in a landslide near a dam in southwestern Romania, hit by torrential rains since the weekend, authorities said.
The heavy rain, which continued yesterday, hampered efforts to rescue workers on the dam in the Hunedoara region, who had been caught in the accident. Mechanical diggers were working to clear the road to the site.
