The British Labour Party will win a second term in power with a majority only slightly smaller than it secured in 1997, according to a survey of experts issued yesterday.
The predictions of 65 political experts canvassed by Kalends, an online future events service owned by Reuters, produced an average forecast of a 134-seat parliamentary majority for the Prime Minister, Mr Blair. A similar survey two weeks ago forecast a majority of 123. Mr Blair secured a 179-seat majority in 1997.
