Payments to Mr Haughey or Mr Lowry of as little as £500 may be investigated, depending on how the payment was made;
The tribunal is obliged to inquire into the source of funds in the accounts of Mr Haughey's and Mr Lowry's family members;
The tribunal will give notice to persons concerning whom documents are being sought;
Public sittings of the tribunal will take place as soon as possible.
