Kerry will give Aidan O'Mahony every chance to face Galway in the All-Ireland quarter-final on Saturday, after an x-ray today revealed no fracture but bad bruising to the centre-back's leg.

O'Mahony sustained the injury in the last weekend's qualifier win over Monaghan and requires crutches at the moment.

If he is unable to make it Tomás Ó Sé is likely to step into centre back to mark Pádraig Joyce, with Tommy Griffin coming in on the wing.

Meanwhile, Laois manager Liam Kearns has given the clearest indication yet he is to remain as county football manager for another season by revealing only 2 players have voiced their displeasure at the current management continuing in their role for 2009.
