Kerry footballers Tomas Ó Sé and Tom O¿Sullivan have been banned for four weeks each for incidents arising out the fiery All-Ireland semi-final clash with Cork last month.

However, both will be available for selection for the final against Armagh later this month as the ban takes effect from the date of the game. As such, the suspensions expire the night before the final on September 22nd.

The match, which Kerry won at a canter, was marred by a series of ugly second-half brawls that involved several players from both sides and led to three players getting red cards, including Cork captain Colin Corkery.

After reviewing video evidence of the match, the Games Administration Committe also banned Cork's Philip Clifford for eight weeks. Clifford received a more severe punishment as his ban comes with 48 weeks of his last suspension and is deemed a repeat offence.

Corkery will face no further action for the histrionics he displayed on the day after issuing an apology; teammate Fionan Murray, dismissed for his part in a clash with Tom O'Sullivan, has had his red card rescinded.
