Kerry Group has increased its offer for Golden Vale to euro 1.50 per share, it was announced this evening.
Golden Vale is now recommending the offer to shareholders, saying it is worth euro 1.54 per share if a special 3 cent per share dividend is included.
The offer places a value of £238m on the company.
Golden Vale had previously rejected an offer ofeuro 1.37 per share saying it did not reflect the value of the company.
