Irish industrial production up 6.6% in October

Irish industrial production expanded by 6

Irish industrial production expanded by 6.6 per cent in the three months to the end of October, according to data released today by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

That marks a sharp upturn in production from the 0.8 per cent growth recorded in the three months to September. The CSO figures also reveal that industrial production volume increased by 11.5 per cent in October compared with the same month a year earlier.

The figures are based on early estimates and a final reading will be published later this month.
