Remains recovered from River Liffey of 61-year-old missing from St Edmundsbury Hospital

Gardai have found the remains of 61-year-old Marian Power who has been missing from St Edmundsbury hospital in Lucan since Monday.

Gardai have found the remains of 61-year-old Marian Power who has been missing from St Edmundsbury hospital in Lucan since Monday.

Her remains were recovered from the River Liffey during a search today by gardaí, the Civil Defence and members of the public. The search took place in the vicinityof the hospital .

The party set out from St Edmundsbury Hospital in Lucan, Dublin at 9am, which Ms Power was last seen leaving on Monday morning.

She was last seen shortly before 9am on January 12th in the Lucan area of Dublin.

She was described as 5’2 in height, of slim build with brown hair. When last seen she was wearing brown boots, dark blue waterproof leggings, a dark navy fleece and a multicoloured woolly hat and possibly spectacles.
