The Irish selectors today named a squad of 24 for the game against Romania in Bucharest on June 2nd.
Uncapped pair Shane Byrne of Blackrock College and Mick O'Driscoll of Cork Constitution are included.
The six Irish players who were included in the Lions squad were not considered.
