Hutchison Whampoa unit H3G is paying €59 million for the mobile telephone sites of Autostrade affiliate Blu in Italy, Ansa news agency reports.
Blu shareholders, who also include BT, are breaking up the company and selling off parts to various Italian telecom operators.
H3G is also taking over 1,000 rental contracts for the sites plus 100 workers, the news agency said.
