The Minister for the Environment has called for extra vigilance in avoiding water pollution

The Minister for the Environment has called for extra vigilance in avoiding water pollution. Mr Howlin said that in summer water resources were particularly sensitive to pollution, with small incidents having greater capacity to cause fish kills. Care was needed in relation to all waste handling and disposal practices.
