Hopes have been raised about the safety of a Christian Brother who was abducted last month in Sierra Leone after he was reportedly seen safe and well.

The Christian Brothers in Manchester have received a fax to say Brother Noel Bradshaw, from Lea in Portarlington, was being held under armed guards by rebels in Makeni.
