Soccer:Blackpool boss Ian Holloway insists he has no interest in becoming Burnley's new manager.

Holloway (46) admits he is flattered to be linked with the club but has ruled out a possible switch to the Premier League.

The Seasiders boss has been heavily linked with a switch to Turf Moor having enjoyed a decent campaign at Bloomfield Road since joining the club in the summer.

Much to the delight of the Pool faithful, though, he insists he is "not going anywhere", and has rubbished suggestions of a possible move.

"It is very flattering but I am not going anywhere," he said.

"I am more than happy and I am afraid the chairman will need a hell of a tub of cream to get rid of me - I'm like a bad rash and not easily curable."

The former Leicester boss confessed that he has never enjoyed coaching more than he has at Blackpool.

"I am thoroughly enjoying my work," he added.

"I have a contract here that suited the club and myself, and I fully intend to work that all the way through and finish what I'm trying to start here.

"Hopefully people will like it and I can stay here a long time because they might want to offer me a new (contract).

"I am absolutely delighted and very privileged to be at this football club.

"I don't think I've ever enjoyed my football as much as I am now."
