Gardaí have issued an appeal for help in tracing four siblings who have been missing from addresses in Dublin for three days.

The children are Peter Collins (16), his brothers Edward (13) and Jason (8) and their sister Lorna (10).

Peter, who is five feet, eight inches tall and has dark brown hair, was last seen at 1.10pm on Tuesday at Parnell Road in Crumlin. Edward is five feet, six inches tall and also has dark brown hair. He was last seen about two hours later at Parnell Road.

Lorna, who is four feet, ten inches tall  with blonde hair, and Jason, who is four feet, ten inches tall with dark brown hair, were last seen at a school in the Crumlin area on the same day. All four children are described as being slightly built.

Detectives understand the children are with their mother Ann Collins.

A Garda spokesman said it is believed the children may be in the South Dublin or Kildare area. He said the unusual appeal was issued as there were fears for the welfare of the children.
