Health sector jobs: The newly established National Centre for Youth Mental Health is now on a recruitment drive. It is seeking applications for the role of chief executive officer to replace interim chief executive Dr Tony Bates to lead the initiative.

The centre, funded by a private foundation, aims to promote better mental health in people aged 12-25 and to ensure that best practice expertise is available to young people experiencing severe emotional crises. The centre is also seeking a head of research and a head of service department.

St James's Hospital is seeing a deputy chief executive officer/ operations manager. The position comes with a salary of €79,712-€97,427.

In Galway the HSE is looking for a consultant rheumatologist and general physician to be based in Galway regional hospitals, Roscommon County Hospital and Portiuncula Hospital. The position, which commands a salary of €169,007, is a new post, bringing to two the number of consultant rheumatologists serving the western area.

The Central Remedial Clinic in Dublin is seeking applications for senior grade speech and language therapists to be based at its centre in Clontarf, Dublin. The salary scale with the positions are €47,118-€55,859.

The Adelaide and Meath Hospital in Tallaght, Dublin is looking for a deputy director of nursing. The senior nurse management team position comes with a salary of €51,714- €65,164. The hospital is also seeking staff nurses for its haemodialysis unit.

The Mater Hospital is seeking two clinical nurse managers for its theatre department, one with an interest in cardiothoracic and heart-lung transplant surgery and one with an interest in gynaecology or genito-urinary surgery. The hospital is also seeking senior medical scientists in haematology for two posts. The positions come with a salary of €45,130-€60,916.

Trinity College Dublin is seeking a lecturer in paediatrics (salary of €32,140-€64,864) and a lecturer in surgery (€47,613-€56,907).
