Mr Jack Bourke of Fianna Fail was yesterday elected chairman of the Mid-Western Health Board for the 18th year. Mr Tim O'Malley (PD) withdrew his name before the election.
Mr Bourke is the only Fianna Fail member on Limerick County Council. He is son of the late Lorcan Bourke, who was deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin.
