A man narrowly escaped an attempt on his life last night, when a masked gunman riddled his lorry with bullets.
The incident occurred at Rossdowney Drive in the Protestant Waterside area of Derry at around 5.15 p.m.
The man was able to drive off and he was not physically injured in the attack. Police are trying to establish a motive for the shooting and are appealing for witnesses.
