Greenpeace Ireland yesterday pledged to support community groups in the Blanchardstown area of Dublin opposing plans for a £113 million "waste-to-energy" incinerator capable of burning half the city's domestic refuse.
Mr John Bowler of Greenpeace said incineration was not the answer.
