A £60,000 grant to support the development of a Community Media Centre in Coolock, Dublin, has been announced by the Minister for Education, Dr Woods.
The new media centre is a community-driven initiative spearheaded by NEAR FM in collaboration with Colaiste Dhulaigh and other Community interests.
The centre has been developed to work with all education providers in the Coolock area as well as the non-formal and voluntary sectors to provide access to and training for the community in information technologies.
