Golden Pages has settled its action against Irish Internet Yellow Pages, the High Court in Dublin was told yesterday.

The President of the High Court, Mr Justice Costello, who made an order striking out the action, was told that certain undertakings have been given by Irish Internet Yellow Pages without admission of liability.

Last July, Irish Internet Yellow Pages won its Supreme Court appeal against an earlier High Court order which prevented it from carrying on business under the name or any title in which the words "yellow pages" formed a part until the hearing of the action.

The injunction had been granted to Golden Pages and ITT World Directories, Waterloo Road, Dublin, against Irish Internet Yellow Pages Ltd, Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin.
