A 38-year-old Massey Ferguson tractor completed a journey from southern Germany to Co Tipperary yesterday as part of a fund-raising drive for the Carrick-on-Suir Camphill Community.
The tractor - in continuous use on a family farm near Stuttgart for almost four decades - will now start a new working life on Camphill's organic farm in Carrick-on-Suir, which provides therapeutic activities for the handicapped.
