The Garvaghy Road Residents' Coalition met the North's Security Minister, Mr Adam Ingram, and other British government officials at Stormont yesterday to find a breakthrough in the continuing Drumcree parade impasse. Mr Breandan Mac Cionnaith, spokesman for the coalition, described the meeting as "frank and hard-hitting".

The coalition said the meeting had been arranged against a background of threats emanating from within the Orange Order to resume its campaign of marches and rallies in Portadown.
