The death of a 45-year-old woman in a flat in Cork city is being treated as suspicious by gardaí.
The woman’s body was found in a flat in Leitrim Street in the city just after midnight.
The scene is being preserved for a technical examination. The Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, is expected at the scene to carry out a post mortem.
