Local gardaí and members of the Emergency Response Unit foiled an attempted raid on a Credit Union branch in Dublin this morning.

Three men who were trying to raid the Credit Union in Ballyfermot, Dublin 10, at about 9.15 a.m. were arrested in the operation.

Two of the arrested men are being held in Ballyfermot Garda station and one is being held in Clondalkin station.
