Gardai holding a man and woman in connection with a drugs find on Monday seized an additional three-quarters of a kg in St Anne's Park, Raheny, Dublin, yesterday.

The man was still being held by gardai in Raheny yesterday while a woman was being held at Clontarf Garda station. Both are in their 30s.

The man was arrested in St Anne's Park at about 4.50 p.m. on Monday after a surveillance operation. Gardai seized three-quarters of a kg of heroin and 10kg of cannabis resin at the time of arrest.

The woman was arrested in the city-centre in a follow-up operation. Both are being held under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, under which they can be detained for seven days before being charged.
