A gang of up to 10 raiders stole £80,000 worth of cigarettes and a substantial quantity of cash after tying up staff at a cash and carry in Dundalk yesterday evening.
The gang, at least one of whom was armed, rushed staff at the premises at Castle Road at around 7.30 pm and ordered the hand-over of money and the keys to two company vans before making their escape in the vehicles.
