Police in Northern Ireland are hunting a gang of three men who attacked a pregnant woman in her Co Antrim home.

The mother of three, who is four months pregnant, was confronted by three masked men in her living room at her home in Ballymoney at about 10.10pm last night.

Police said the men had entered the house in Kirkview Court by the open front door, grabbed the woman by the throat and warned her to get out of town. She was then punched in the face and head by the man who smashed her telephone and stole her mobile phone.

The woman suffered a number of bruises.

The woman's children, aged five, eight and ten, were upstairs at the time and were not hurt.

Three men were seen climbing a fence into the Glebe Housing estate at Hamilton Park.

The PSNI said anyone who may have seen the men or has information about the attack should contact detectives in Ballymoney.
