An Irish teenager stabbed to death in a bar brawl in the notorious Greek tourist resort of Faliraki is to be buried next Monday, it was confirmed tonight.

Paddy Doran (17) who died after he was struck with a broken bottle, will be buried at a cemetery in Northampton, England.

Hundreds of mourners are also expected to attend a service in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

The teenager had become involved in a fight at the Q Bar, in the resort on the island of Rhodes on August 12th.

Funeral directors Jack Warwick, of Kettering, confirmed the service will be held at the Evangelical Church, in Bath Street, at 1 p.m.

A burial service will follow later at Towcester Road Cemetery, in Northampton.

After moving to England from the North, Mr Doran had lived at a caravan site near Market Harborough with his mother and grandmother.

Mr Peter Navarro (21) of Leasowe, Wirral, has appeared before a court in Greece accused of manslaughter.
