Los Angeles - Kelsey Grammer, who plays Seattle psychoanalyst Frasier Crane in the long-running sitcom Frasier, has become the highest-paid actor in TV history, according to a report in Variety. The trade paper said he has agreed to stay with the NBC comedy for the 2002 and 2003 seasons for a record fee of more than $1.6 million (£1.4) per episode.
