Foul play ruled out in Co Monaghan death

Gardaí in Co Monaghan have ruled out foul play in the death of a man whose body was found in Castleblayney yesterday.

Gardaí in Co Monaghan have ruled out foul play in the death of a man whose body was found in Castleblayney yesterday.

The 65-year-old man was found fully clothed lying close to an empty upturned trolley beside a shed near a supermarket in the New Street area.

The body was removed to Cavan General Hospital last night where a post-mortem examination was carried out by Deputy State Pathologist Michael Curtis.

The man, who has not been named, was from Armagh City.
