Two reports on making Irish in primary schools more enjoyable have been published by Instituid Teangeolaiochta Eireann.

Two reports on making Irish in primary schools more enjoyable have been published by Instituid Teangeolaiochta Eireann.

The reports, released yesterday, are based on two years of research with more than 60 teachers. They emphasise games and tasks in which the pupil must use simple Irish in a purposeful way.

The reports, Cursai Nua Gaeilge na Bunscoile: Moltai agus Abhar Samplach; Imleabhar 1 (Naionain Shoisearcha - Rang 2) and Imleabhar II (Rang 3-6) are by J Harris, M. Ui Dhufhigh, P. O Neill, and E O Suilleabhain.
