Five Ecuadoreans were killed when their car was hit by a train at a level crossing near Albacete in central Spain.

Five Ecuadoreans were killed when their car was hit by a train at a level crossing near Albacete in central Spain.

The train, which was nearing the station in the small town of Hellin, derailed in the collision but no one was hurt on board, a local government spokeswoman said.

Traffic was interrupted for about three hours on the line.
