FIVE PEOPLE were being questioned by gardaí last night about the murder of a Limerick teenager who was found dead after being missing for 18 months.

The body of Richard "Happy" Kelly (17), O'Malley Park, was found in Lough Brigid near O'Callaghan Mills, Co Clare, last November. He had been missing from his home in Limerick city since April 23rd, 2006.

One woman and four men aged between 20 and 36 were arrested early yesterday at a number of addresses in Limerick as part of a planned operation.

The five people were being held last night under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Ennis, Shannon and Killaloe Garda stations in Co Clare.
