Three Dublin firemen were injured when they were attacked by a gang of youths as they dealt with a blazing car in Ballyfermot early on Sunday morning.
A spokesman for Dublin Fire Brigade last night said it was likely the attack was "a set up" and that the car was deliberately set ablaze at Croftwood, Ballyfermot, at around 1 a.m. in an attempt to bring the firemen into the area.
