The High Court has adjourned for two weeks an application to pay legal fees out of money alleged to belong to the Felloni family which has been frozen by court order. The application is opposed by the State.

At an earlier Circuit Criminal Court hearing it was stated that other Felloni accounts containing more than £115,000 sterling had been frozen by orders issued by courts in Belfast and Liverpool.

Tony Felloni (53), of Lower Dominick Street, Dublin, is serving a total of 20 years in Portlaoise Prison in relation to four heroin dealing offences. His daughter, Regina, is serving six years and nine months in Limerick prison, and his son, Luigi, was jailed for six years for similar offences.
