Racing: Kieren Fallon is set to take the ride on ante-post favourite George Washington in tomorrow's Stan James 2000 Guineas despite a late injury scare.

Fallon was taken to hospital after hurting his foot in a race at Tipperary last night, throwing his fitness into doubt ahead of the first Classic of the season.

However, Fallon's agent Dave Pollington expects him to be in action at Newmarket this weekend, although he will skip all the supporting races and just ride in the 1000 and 2000 Guineas.

"I don't too much about the injury, all I know is that he injured his foot," said Pollington. "What I can say is that he is going to ride in the Guineas.

"He will be on George Washington in the 2000 and will also ride in the 1000on Sunday. He won't ride in any other races - just those two. I don't know the extent of the injury but Kieren feels comfortable riding in those two races."

Fallon sustained the injury when partnering Convincing, who was later pulled up, for John Joseph Murphy in the "Enjoy The Action At Tipperary As A Member" Handicap".
